Underdonk is pleased to announce the opening of “Onion By The Ocean”, a grouping of sculptures by thirty-two artists.

Placed atop a gridded table, these aesthetically dissonant sculptures, alike in their diminutive scale, juxtapose a broad range of styles; such as abstract, animal forms, cosmological, figuration, found objects, grotesque, and symbolic. The grid operates as a module for displaying the simultaneity of being, as the individual assertions of each work are either sublimated, altered, or punctuated by proximity to each other.

By gathering these thirty-two works and installing them together on a grid, the installation becomes a new reality, encompassing multiple interpretations.
